Embracing Makeup and Skincare After Motherhood

Entering the world of makeup after having a daughter can be quite a challenge, especially when she begins to ask if she can use it and if she can have her own lipstick.

Not particularly keen on either idea, I opted to buy her a tinted lip balm. Once I got it home, her dad asked, what I call today, the dreaded question: “What’s in it?”

Reluctantly, I started reading the label and came across the “Do Not Ingest” warning. How can something that goes on your lips not be safe to ingest?

With that unsettling realization, I quickly decided to toss the tinted lip balm and create my own.

I mixed together some shea butter, avocado oil, beeswax, a delightful scent, a touch of color, and I never looked back.

As time went on, I also crafted a skin-moisturizing whipped body butter, a rejuvenating bar soap, and numerous other products designed to enhance your natural radiance.

My current focus is on creating more skincare items that are handmade with minimal ingredients for optimal results with minimal effort.

I hope you are enjoying, or will soon enjoy, the amazing products we create—because my family certainly does!
